I hesitated to buy this as it’s not cheap. But I took the plunge and definitely don’t regret it. The jacket is very light but warm and water resistant as an added bonus. It’s perfect for the weather in NW England and I think I’ve worn it almost every day since it arrived. I loved it so much that I’ve already been back and bought a non hooded version.

Awesome, soft, beautiful and even warmer. However, one BUT that is important: I really don't find the tightening system integrated into the hood practical, so yes we don't see it and aesthetically it's great, to tighten you just have to pull on the cords, but if you want to loosen well that's where it gets complicated, almost impossible!!!! unless there is a system?
Fabric that seems fragile it seems to be used every day, but avoid perhaps going through bushes or thorns if you want to hike with it.
