Cut in our Classic Fit. Not too tight, not too loose. Great for layering.

Relaxed

Cut in our Relaxed Fit with a modern dropped shoulder look and wider body.

Oversized

Cut in our Oversized Fit, our roomiest fit through the body and sleeves. Slouchy and comfortable. Size down for a closer fit.

Arm Length

Measure from the sleeve seam to the cuff opening on the top side of the arm.

Chest

Place tape measure under your arm, around your back and across the centre of your chest.

Hip

Measure the widest part of your hip. Make sure you keep your feet together when measuring.

Leg Length

Run the tape measure from the top of the inside leg at the crotch to just below the ankle.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest point (usually just above your naval) keeping the tape slightly loose.

  • Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with similar colours. Do not use bleach or softener.Do not iron or tumble dry. Hang dry when possible.Pilling (bobbling) is natural in textured fabrics, to help avoid this, wash inside-out.

    A Lovely Fleece Jacket that sadly comes up small in the chest.

    I love it because of the colour, detail and the warmth and comfort of the materials used.

    I am just a little disappointed that, although all my clothing is size XL or XXL and fits me perfectly, this Born Explorer Recycled Polar-Lined Sherpa Fleece is size XXL and is a bit tight around the chest.

    I was tempted to return it for a refund, but because you don't do a larger size and because I otherwise love this fleece so much, I decided to keep it.

    However, I admit that this surprising chest size issue just takes the some of the pleasure away of owning this lovely jacket unfortunately.
